Battle between the presidentiables

The politics this year is exciting. Wonder who's going to win? Villar and Aquino is leading the polls, but many claims polls to be bogus. I have many friends and acquaintances that supports Gibo or Gordon here in social sites such as facebook. I also noticed something. I don’t see any Villar supporters here in Cagayan de Oro City. No house putting banners for his support or any of my CDeO friends posting pictures for Villar's support. Aquino on the other hand have yellow ribbons tied everywhere. I even fear wearing yellow sometimes, people might think I’m some Aquino fanatic with the yellow theme going on around Divisoria. My dad supports Erap. At first I thought my dad have to re-evaluate his candidate. So I went on a little research about Erap and what he has done in his term as president and his previous positions. Erap is popular to have took the heart of the masses. He helped a lot of poor people when he was still a mayor. I don’t know much about him being a president though, people were always telling me he was a drunkard even during his working hours (How is that possible anyway?). I respect my dad's decision, we're entitled to vote for our own candidate anyway. I like Gibo. I've read much about him. He has done many things and his very smart too. For me, an ideal president. I don’t know why being a candidate of our present president makes him incompetent, I think the corruption here in the Philippines really made everyone paranoid. Gordon! Also a good choice for me. He has done a lot. He also have the adequate experience, also an ideal president for me. As for Villar... I just found out he had filed much bills and passed laws much more than any of the other presidential candidates. But his abuse of TV ads makes him sickening. I don’t even want to know more about him. I even just found out about that bills and laws by accident. What about Aquino? I've seen his records. Its too clean. No wonder he wasn’t the first bearer of his party. If his mother didn’t die, do you think he would run as president?

-=-People are on the clouds, they have the misconception that one president and a single 6-year term is enough to fix corruption... no... fix Philippines. Its time to wake up people! It isn’t happening. But we need good leadership. So slowly we can stand up and be a great nation again. Slowly but surely, neh? -=-

No offense to Villar supporters, his the only thing I don’t bother knowing about cause his using too much money during campaign period and makes him less credible. And all the other candidates I didn’t mention (I was surprised to see other candidates running for presidency when I saw a TV program of the them debating, I don’t even remember their names.) I did research about them. I think the other one is too young. I think the other one is arrogant ... and Jamby wasn’t it? Is she serious in running? About Ed? For me, he lacks experience (and also Aquino). Being a president isn’t OJT (on-the-job-training), we need someone who knows how to play the game (and hopefully not how to skillfully run the game of corruption.. gulp).

Others are just relieved that Pres. Gloria's term is ending. I think people are just focusing on her bad things that they fail to see what she has done for the country. I’m not a fan of hers either, but I keep an open mind.

Author's notes: This bog is not advertising any candidate, these are just my opinions and I mean no harm to their avid fans :P And I think Villar is scheming something. VOTE WISELY!
